Fugly shoes

I saw someone wearing this pair of shoes while boarding a plane. The only reasons why I guess anyone would wear such a pair of shoes is:
A) He/She is completely colourblind
B) He/She has a fantasy of becoming Aquaman (hence wings on feet)
C) He/She gets a kick out of torturing people like me who are tempted to laugh at the shoes but can't coz it's rude.
Whatever the reasons, those shoes are an abomination to the rest of shoekind.
