My funky covered platforms

This is an interesting pair of shoes I bought from Summit Mall in USJ recently. They cost about RM69.90, and are pretty comfy though the soles aren't padded. I just thought it was interesting that it's covered all the way to the bottom and the mix of blue and black with the metal studs on the side makes it look a bit like something out of sci-fi flick. They even got the attention of some of my male colleagues. And how often so shoes do that, especially the type you wear to the office!

That's why I love em. :)

Mystery of the leaves

I'm have a bit of a puzzling situation at my rented house. I frequently find some fallen leaves on my porch. This in itself is not really a problem. The thing is, the leaves look like this.

The front of my house looks like this.

There are no trees near enough that could drop leaves directly onto my porch. The nearest trees are the one on the left.

 And the leaves of those trees look like this.

Both of which look nothing like these leaves.

So the question is... where the heck are these leaves coming from?

The only logical answer is someone is throwing them in. But why would anyone do that on a regular  basis? And how do they get all the way from my gate to the front of the house, which is where most of them end up? And some of them even get under my dog's shelter area.

This is going to drive me crazy for a while.
