The dog hangs around my office at USJ 1, and seems to be a mixed breed and judging from it's friendly nature and appearance, I would guess it's a mixed labrador. My boss who is an animal lover as well, feeds the dog sometimes, which is probably why I see it often around my office. I took a short vid of him, so I don't have to explain too much on why I think he would make a great house pet (although if you're hoping for a guard dog, he's probably too friendly for that, and if you don't have time to handle an active dog and take him for walks, probably not a good idea either). If I had a house with a big garden, I would definitely take him back home with me! Also he looks healthier than most strays, so for anyone thinking to take him in, some vaccinations, check-up and good shower and he's good to go staying with you for the rest of his life.
The cat I see hangs around True Fitness fitness centre at Taipan, USJ. I see it every now and then when I go there, and can never resist to stop and give it a nice belly rub, which she enjoys (I believe it's a female). She also likes brushing up against my legs. The cat is relatively a new resident to the area, as I've been going to the centre for over 2 years and only saw the cat hanging around there in the last couple of months. I don't have a video of it though. Cats are just kinda really good at just lying there and being coy, so a vid would be kinda boring. But it's a friendly cat, also seems quite healthy.
I guess it's kind of a long shot to post about them hoping to find a potential owner. I probably would do better on a pet adoption site, but since I'm not fostering them, I don't want to disappoint anyone if suddenly tomorrow they never show up again and I don't know where to find them. I do hope these animals get a good home though. I'd hate to see the dog get taken away by the municipal, especially. Those guys can't be crazy and cruel when it comes to catching stray dogs here.
