How to get Android apps in countries where it is not available

I got this annoying problem where I tried to download the proper Android app for Blogger on my phone but it was listed as not available in my country. Anyone who has had the same problem with this or other apps will surely agree that it's annoying. So is there a way around this and get an app unavailable in your country?
Well, I found a way, unfortunately you would require a friend who stays in a country where the app is available (I would guess USA, Canada and Australia coz' you white guys love to keep all the good stuff to yourselves) and your friend needs to have an Android phone. If you got that (sorry to those who don't) then you're good to go!
Step 1: Ask your friend to download the app you want
Step 2: Ask your friend to download another app called MyAppSharer, free on Android
Step 3: Ask your friend to email you the app package or APK using MyAppSharer and install
Step 4: Tell your friend he or she is the bomb! ;-)
That's how I got my Blogger app which I'm tapping away on now. And to my friend Selina all the way in Aussieland...you're the bomb! :-D
